Drug and Alcohol Relapse Prevention Programs for Women in Recovery from Addiction

Whether you are leaving a drug or alcohol treatment center and need more time to heal in a safe environment, or fear you are on the verge of alcohol or drug relapse, the Open Door prevention program for women provides a solution.

The Open Door women's center, located outside of the town of San Miguel de Allende Mexico, is a unique place where women recovering from addiction, as well as issues of self esteem and relationships, can reflect on their lives and their journey in sobriety.

Our 30 to 90 day recovery programs are designed to guide women who have been sober for at least 14 days. Our goal is provide an experience to help each woman discover her divine purpose in life, so that she may develop a foundation for life-long sobriety. Focus is on the 12 Step program which is lived on a daily basis. Each person is given the time to heal in order to transition into recovery.

The Open Door is a unique extended care and relapse prevention center located in the MEXICAN colonial town of San Miguel de Allende, a world heritage site. The center has 7 beds with a high counselor to patient ratio. Throughout the client's30 to 90 day spiritual journey women transition from addiction to recovery, develop self esteem, and learn to find joy in sober living. We create an atmosphere for this to take place. Oriented around the principles of compassion, humility and inclusion, our staff brings years of experience in 12 Step facilitation as well as cognitive behavioral therapy.
