Job description: U.S. Mission Pakistan is seeking applications from qualified individuals for the Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Mechanic position in U.S. Embassy, Islamabad.

Basic Function of the Position – The incumbent works as Gas Station Attendant and issues fuel (gasoline/diesel) to Government-Own Vehicles (GOV), leased vehicles, and Personally-Own Vehicles (POV) at Post. Fills out relevant forms and manages fuel record. Prepares monthly/weekly fuel consumption reports. Monitors Embassy fuel tanks level and updates Supervisors for upcoming fuel deliveries/processing.

Qualification Requirements:

EXPERIENCE: Minimum one year of Gas Station Attendant work experience and one year of office worker in record/data management is required.

EDUCATION: Completion of Elementary School Certificate (08 years of education) is required.

Job Knowledge: The incumbent should have good knowledge of fuel station operations and record management. Should be familiar with fuel receiving procedure from distributor.

LANGUAGE: Level II (Limited Knowledge) Speaking/Reading/Writing in English and Level-III (Good Working Knowledge) in Urdu are required. English language skills may be tested.

Skills And Abilities: The incumbent should have good customer service skills and communication abilities. The job holder should be able to perform heavy work under extreme weather conditions and have computer and data management skills. The incumbent must possess valid Pakistani driver’s license for Motor Car/Jeep. Applicants must show proof that they have a minimum of five years of licensed driving experience. Skills and abilities may be tested.
