Job description: We are recruiting a Sales Manager based in Islamabad, Pakistan

The Sales Manager will manage on a commercial level within the country / territory. Deliver revenue for Qatar Airways, maximizing the return from existing market whilst identifying and penetrating new markets where appropriate.

Key responsibilities

· Accountable for strategic direction of QR’s Corporate / Trade / Leisure sales in the country and defining the optimal way to increase sales by recommendations for routes, timings, aircraft type and other product development.

· Formulate and implement station sales strategy, including local corporate dealing policy, to maximize short and long terms revenue opportunities, reduce cost of sale and generate channel shift where appropriate

· Recommend the B2B sales strategy for the assigned territory. Negotiating B2B agreements within assigned territories. (including PLBs, JMFs, commissions and corporate contracts)

· Responsible for delivering targets and KPUI for the sales team.

· Managing market funds and other expenditure budgets of the station to ensure maximum value.

· Act as the primary legal representative in assigned territory.

· Ensure QR optimal presence in sales campaigns and public events in the station, gathering market intelligence and sales leads for distribution to relevant stakeholders.

· Establish the department and team objectives and priorities to align with and support business objectives.

· Oversee and supervise employees. Direct daily activities, recruit, train and develop to ensure high standards of service delivery

· Maintain long term relations with QR clients. Maintain high level of relationship with other airlines, trade bodies, government and civil aviation and general public, diplomats within the assigned territories.

· Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will need.

· Strong sales ability and commercial acumen

· Proven ability to negotiate and work within a multi-cultural environment with good leadership skills.

· Bachelor Degree with minimum 4 years of job-related work experience.

· High School qualification / Vocational Qualification or Diploma with Minimum 5 years of job-related experience.

· Relevant experience working with Aviation Sector.

· Self-motivated proactive and flexible

· Strong decision-making skills and problem-solving skills.

· Customer First / Commercial Focus / Leadership / Driven to Deliver.

You must also have the right to live and work in Pakistan to be considered for this role.
